On Saturday at Evesham regatta, the WMasB coxed four of Retha Pretorius, Naomi Sharma, Georgia Dowdeswell and Jo Humphries, coxed by Sophie Wragg, came away with victory, as did Lil Cochrane and Cam Scarf in the WMas C/D doubles.
On Monday, 10 crews (including 9 junior crews), raced at Marlow Spring, with 6 of those crews reaching finals. Three crews finished second, all by a length or less. Some great racing! Those crews were Martin Benfeghoul in the J16 single, Ed Sharp in the J14 single and Emily Tadesse and Cicely Lobreglio in the WJ15 double.
Also on Monday was the first attempt at mixed scratched eights racing with our neighbours at City of Oxford. Although Falcon went down 3-1, it was fantastic to see such camaraderie on the Isis and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
