Rowing club wins

This weekend (11th June), saw 4 club wins at Marlow Town regatta. Representing the club seniors, there was victory for Naomi Sharma in the WMasD singles, with the WIM3 four finishing in second place.

The juniors were out in force, with 18 crews racing and 8 of those making the finals. There were wins for Martin Benfeghoul, winning both his heat and final of the Novice singles 'easily', for Gabe Smith and Ed Sharp in the J15 doubles, and for Joel Garden and Josh Simmons in the Novice doubles. There were close second places for Emily Tadesse and Cicely Lobreglio in the WJ15 doubles, losing by a canvas, and for Joe Mullett and Gabe Smith in the Novice doubles, losing to the other Falcon crew by 3/4 length.

Sebastian Johnson, an adaptive sculler rowing with the juniors, competed in his first real race in the J14 quads, beating a Pangbourne crew in the heat.
