Sunday 3rd July- Annual Falcon Juniors picnic at Henley, to which everyone is welcome and invited to attend.

We will be setting up near the start line, where you will be able to see all the crews only 10 metres away. You will find details here: www.hrr.co.uk/spectators/. I will be leaving Oxford at about 1030 on Sunday and will have space for 4 people. We will be at the end of the course furthest away from the town. If you park in the centre (free parking at Waitrose all day), it is a 2 kilometre walk down to our base. There is a car park right next to our base, but the cost is about £25 to park there- but there is a 30 second walk at the end of it. You access this car park from the top of Remenham Hill, at the start of the one way system. As you start to head down the hill, you will see the course stretching out in front of you. You want to aim for the first right hand turn that takes you down to the course- it should be fairly obvious. Otherwise, turn right when you get to the church.

There is no cost associated with the day otherwise- the towpath is free to access. There are plenty of rowing based stands where you can buy discount kit as well.

Please bring food, drink, friends, family and pets etc. It is a really very relaxed, nice day out at such a historic race. There is also a good chance my husband's crew will be racing in the final (Headington School Junior girls quads), and so it would be good to cheer them on!
